What is BELT POWER X?

BELT POWER X is a work assistance device designed to address challenges on our mass production floors, with specifications refined through actual use in production.
There are several types of manual work involving the handling of heavy objects on production floors.
Given these circumstances, we believe that this product can help address social issues facing production floors, such as labor shortages, women’s empowerment, and the aging population.

This product is mainly designed to assist wearers in moving heavy objects, reducing strain on the arms and lower back.
The assistance device is also affordable, easy to attach and detach, and comfortable to wear as it does not interfere with wearers’ daily movements.

Structure

BELT POWER X primarily consists of a main body that is worn on the upper body, wristbands, a belt-winding device that generates assistive power, and thigh belts worn based on the weight of the heavy object being handled.
The belt-winding device locks when you gently lower your arm to a specified position, with the tension of the belt generating power to assist you.
When you handle a heavy object, the device produces an effect that causes the belts to suspend the object. By performing tasks that do not involve heavy objects, the belt-winding device allows the belts to move freely. As a result, the equipment does not interfere with your daily movements.

BELT POWER X is a newly developed model that builds on the arm support design of the previous BELT POWER specifications while offering improved lower back support and greater ease of use and movement.
The majority of similar products on the market focus on the lower back, with few offering arm support. If you are suffering from arm fatigue, we highly recommend you give this product a try.

Development capability

Like our other products, BELT POWER X was developed by leveraging our existing design, testing and evaluation know-how, and our new product planning capabilities, which we have accumulated through the manufacturing of auto parts. We identified customer needs and incorporated them into the specifications.
In addition, we repeated testing on our production floors so that the product better serves the customers.

Message from the Development Department

Several types of manual work involve the handling of heavy objects on production floors, and many businesses are struggling with issues such as labor shortages, women’s empowerment and the aging population. Yutaka is one of those businesses.
BELT POWER X was developed jointly with our production floors, which are facing these issues.
By using the previous model, BELT POWER, on production floors, we identified certain key functions. We then incorporated those functions into tools better suited for production environments, leading to the development of the new model, BELT POWER X.

We hope that BELT POWER X will be of some help to customers experiencing difficulty or fatigue in their work or processes.
